Shareholders Week @ Walmart

This week was shareholders week at Walmart, which meant a week full of fun events & walmart employees from all over the world. They all wore their walmart shirts, which said which country they were from. There were tons from Chile, Brazil, the UK, Canada, China, Japan...and they were excited to be here. Every year Walmart flies out a bunch of their employees, like 1 from each store, from all over the world- and they get to spend a week here in Bentonville Arkansas.

So Tuesday night- me and some of the other interns went to the Lady Antebellum & Darius Rucker concert. It was a lot of fun. And because it was put on by Walmart, they even had low prices on the concession food. I got a hot dog, bag of chips and a soda for $3.50.

The next night was Bob Seager. Jared had flown to NY for 2 days, so we missed that. But when he got back Friday- his work day was going to the University of Arkansas Arena. They had all the walmart big wigs give a few comments and then the entertainment was....Will Smith as the MC, a quartet from Canada, Scotty (the American Idol winner), Alicia Keys, and the Black Eyed Peas. It was pretty crazy.

All though that all sounds very exciting, during the days here just consisted of me and the boys at the pool for a couple of hours. It's so hot & muggy, we don't really want to go anywhere but the pool. The boys have gotten to really love the water. And it really wears them out- which makes from some nice naps when we are all done.
