A hike to the mine shaft

Saturday we went on a hike through my dad's old stomping grounds..."Carver Mountain". We found an old mine shaft that he used to play in as a kid. It was a great hike.

Isaac checking it out from above. From what I hear (I didn't dare venture in...I'm quite clumsy and was afraid I wouldn't make it out), you walked down a little and then there was an abrubt 40 ft drop. Dad said he used to drop kids/friends down it when he was little.
